TIRED OF THE TORTURE SOCIETY

Posted in Jones' wisdom with tags , , , , , , , , , on December 8, 2023 by tiltdiary

We are taught that if you want to accomplish something you have to suffer and take responsibility. You have to work hard and go through pain and loss. But what if this isn’t true. What if we would combine learning, taking responsibility, and evolving with having fun and enjoying what we do. Instead of punishing and forcing our kids or pets to obey. Then we would become like my dogs who cannot wait to wake up at sunrise to do fun exercises with me to learn new things and get rewarded with lovingly prepared, homemade meals and treats. And who don’t want to fall asleep, although worn out from all the fun we had. Then we too would want to get up at sunrise and couldn’t wait to do it all over again. Because we are allowed to not because we have to.

MOTHER’S DAY — FURRY OR NOT

Posted in Family Events & Celebrations with tags , , , , , , on May 9, 2022 by tiltdiary

Many mothers think they are superior over women who didn’t give birth to their children. Like we hold lesser value because we adopted a child or an animal.

While I agree that it is much more difficult to raise human children — given the desire of a mother to truly give her best and educate herself about how to raise a confident, secure kid. I wouldn’t say it’s easier to raise animals. Although, animals aren’t affected by politics, the internet, and social media, and their life surrounds around us, their guardians. But mothers of animals will most likely experience the death of their pet and “lose their child.”

Both, being a mom to human kids or to animals, comes with different challenges. We shouldn’t judge or try to measure who loves more or who has the more difficult mission to fulfill. Who deserves to be called a mother. We should try to have respect and compassion for all women who nurture, guard, and truly put effort into raising their kids — furry or not.

IT’S ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR DECISIONS

Posted in Jones' wisdom with tags , , , , , , , , , on April 12, 2022 by tiltdiary

Most people make decisions based on what they are taught by their parents or society, and they assume it is suppose to be the right thing to do. It would be an improvement if people would base their decisions on their gut feeling. And decision making would accelerate if we could base them on our developed intuition.

HIDDEN STILETTOS

Posted in Stripper Secrets with tags , , , , , , , , on October 9, 2014 by tiltdiary

It was still early into our shift and the club was dead. We were sitting in the dressing room, while the other dancers were drinking at the bar, discussing our family history. And she said to me, “My mother is really proud of me. She thinks it shows much confidence, feminine power, and strength to work as a stripper.” I said, “It can show that. But my patents can never know.” It all depends how your family views the world. I remember years ago my parents visiting me in LA. I didn’t think anything of it, but when my mother discovered my 8 inch stilettos she almost had a heart attack. She yelled at me in Croatian, “You better hide these shoes. If your father sees them he will disinherit you. And for what do you have shoes like this anyways?” Back then, I didn’t work as a stripper yet, and I tried to explain, “I dance in those shoes. Pole dance.” My mother’s face shriveled up, “How can you dance in shoes like this? Nobody can even walk in shoes like this.” I didn’t bother to explain how my shoes made me feel and how much I loved them. I don’t think my mother would’ve understood. I just hid them to make sure my father wouldn’t find them. And of course, my parents couldn’t even understand and tolerate shoes like this, how could they understand that their daughter, who they sent to the most prestigious schools in Germany, started dancing for dollars in shoes like this. We strippers hold many secrets. We have to. To protect the ones we love the most and to protect ourselves. Society isn’t ready for the truth yet. And maybe society will never be ready for the truth.

BEATING EVERY DAY’S TICK TOCK LIFE

Posted in Jones' wisdom with tags , , , , , , , , , on February 18, 2014 by tiltdiary

Most people are caught in the Tick Tock Life. They work a 9-5 job and with the daily commute and family responsibilities it feels as if there is not much time left to live. But you cannot give in to the Tick Tock life, you cannot allow the everyday treadmill to take over your life. You cannot allow passion to slip away and be replaced by the every day’s grind. We have to work daily on battling the mediocre and creating the extraordinary. Don’t let the Tick Tock Life trick you in believing that this is what life is about. Life is about what takes your breath away, and deep down in your heart you know what matters most. The rest is just circumstances that weave around your core, who you really are. Nothing can strip you of who you really are when you have the courage to stay true to yourself. Your job, your boss, how much money your earn, and what others think of you doesn’t define you. Only your heart defines you. Stay powerful with me today, and everyday.
