It is never about how good you are. What counts is that you are doing it, and that you can enjoy the experience, feeling how your body, mind, and spirit react. Especially, if you are trying something you have never done before, you cannot be a master at it. You have your whole life to master certain skills but without trying, exploring, and challenging yourself you will never explore what makes you giggle, happy, passionate, or powerful. Don’t let fear hold you back, and start to spin, fly, climb, and go upside down changing your perception of things. There is no “I can’t.” You can do anything you want to do. You are in charge of your life, the experiences you invite and allow, the actions you take or don’t take.
Today, in my “Try-Something-I-Have-Never-Done-Before” journey I encountered Lyra. A simple ring attached to the ceiling can spark unimaginable powers inside of you. I remembered how my class mates made fun of me because as a teenager I sucked on the uneven bar. Back then, they made me believe I was fat and weak. All I can say about that is that this was only their perception, and my gym teacher was really the one who sucked. Tavi Stutz at Aeriform Arts made me feel as if I can tear out trees with my bear hands. Be strong with me, be fearless, and let all the negative things they told you some time in your life turn into dust. You are what you want to be.
