FINDING THE RIGHT DOSE OF LOVE

Posted in Jones' wisdom with tags , , , , , , , , on August 6, 2018 by tiltdiary

Often times, we can only give minimum amounts of care, love, and advice to family members and friends, because anything more is viewed as a threat, accusation, or even as an insult. Dosing kindness and love is unfortunately a delicate art and necessity.

HOW TO FIND LOVE AND JOY

Posted in Jones' wisdom with tags , , , , , , on July 7, 2018 by tiltdiary

Most people don’t value and cherish what they have and are too busy dreaming about what they want. This way they miss out on what’s best in their lives and often don’t see the love and joy that’s right in front of them. — A.A. Jones

BE CAREFUL HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CO-STRIPPERS

Posted in Stripper Secrets with tags , , , , , , on June 23, 2018 by tiltdiary

While he was digging through his empty wallet to pay me the remaining $20 he owed me for the dances we did I heard the DJ call me on stage. I decided to let the $20 go for now and hopped onto stage knowing it would be a lucrative one. The minute I walked away from Mr. Broke one of my co-strippers dragged him into the lap dance room thinking if Jones could’ve cash in on him she could squeeze at least another few dances out of the drunk guy.

While my stage had been as lucrative as I had hoped I was surprised how long Mr. Broke was in the booth with Missy Snatchy. His wallet had been empty after he had paid me still owing me money but I thought he might use the ATM or was lying about being out of money to pay his $20 dead. Then I saw Missy Snatchy storm with him out of the lap dance booth. She yelled at me, “Why didn’t you warn me he had no money left?” Within seconds I reflected on the first day of her working at my club. This is more than three years ago: while I was on stage dancing she had imitated me and made fun of me trying to sabotage my business and making me look like a fool. She didn’t succeed. I’ve always been a very strong performer no matter how hard the girls tried to discredit me or distract customers from watching me. But our relationship had been not better looking beyond the stage. She would be rude and condescending to me in the dressing room or on the floor. She would tell customers not to tip me and turn other girls against me. She had been not once kind or respectful to me but now she had demanded my support, protection, and loyalty. It doesn’t work like this. She had treated me like dust, yet, when she got ripped off snatching a customer away from me she demanded my help and respect. So I told her quietly, “Even if I would’ve warned you, you’d never believed me. You’re always against me and treat me like the enemy, but we can do teamwork and convince Mr. Broke to go to the ATM.”

That night, for the first time in over three years we did work together. And we respectfully ended up getting what Mr. Broke owed us. I doubt she understood the lesson of love and respect but I am hoping that another strippers, maybe even a club bully, will read this post and change how she treats her co-strippers.

ONLY GOD KNOWS

Sometimes, it’s hard to know what’s good for others, even what’s good for yourself. Sometimes, only God knows. — A.A. Jones

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE FROM A STRIPPER

Posted in Customers, Jones' wisdom with tags , , , , , , , , on June 14, 2018 by tiltdiary

But how should we treat others? In my opinion, we should always treat others with the same respect, compassion, care, and love we wish to be treated with by others. Think about it next time when your spouse, child, friend, or neighbor upsets you. If the roles would reverse, how would you like them to alert you that you hurt their feelings or crossed a boundary.
Now you might ask yourself if I treat my customers the way I would like to be treated if I would be the customer and they instead would be the stripper. I can absolutely say that I try to treat them with the respect, care, compassion, and love I wish for. Unfortunately, most customers do not treat us strippers kindly but I refuse to give up on respect, honestly, and civility.
