PARTY GIRLS DON’T CRY

Posted in Jones' Poems with tags , , , , , , , , , on September 26, 2014 by tiltdiary

She rocks it all night long

Doesn’t even like the song

Turns all the men on

Blister blood in her shoes

As they whistle and drink their booze

It all looks glamorous but she has paid her dues

Wants to break out and set herself lose

Can’t wait till the club closes

While the other girls snort coke up their noses

She gets home and takes off her clothes

Then she reveals her true self

No longer set upon a shelf

She rocked it all night long

Now faces insomnia and plays her favorite song

It tears her slowly apart

As she faces her broken heart
