We all make mistakes. We all step on other people’s toes, behave selfish or ignorant, and most of us never intentionally do any of this. But in relationships you face your biggest demons. So what do you do when you realize you hurt your friend, your partner, your parent, your child, or even a colleague? Well, most of us have learned through upbringing to say “sorry.” And most of us mean it when we say it. But most people never attach the effort to it to not repeat what hurt the other person nor do they take any action to make up for their mistake. A simple sorry doesn’t count if you don’t have the intention to not do it again and if you aren’t willing to go out of your way to fix it.
