As a stripper it is always your choice whether you keep business in the club or take it outside. Some of the LA strip clubs have protected us women from slipping into prostitution, and they offered us a fair and safe environment to be sensual dancers and only dancers. But this has changed overnight for many of us strippers, and we find ourselves debating how to make up for the money that the clubs charge us to pay for our own minimum wage, the house fee, the wages for bouncers and DJs as well as the huge cut the government takes. Plus, since the clubs cash in on us more than ever, they are even more willing to pimp up us since they started smelling the fat golden goose they can snack on. And the question remains, “Is the government pushing many of us women into prostitution, or how can we survive being employees that have to pay for their own wages as well as other employees wages?”
